"With the 2THUMB grip I’m able to have level shoulders, level hands which creates a pendulum motion and the ability to start the ball on line with a good amount of rotation."
PGA TOUR Professional
By positioning your hands alongside one another on the grip, rather than with one above the other, it allows the shoulders to hang level with one another at address. If you’re struggling on the greens, give it a go yourself. It’s a technique that’s certainly been working for Matt Wallace.

I am suffering with the Yips, what 2THUMB Grip will help me?
A major contributing factor to the 'yips' is too much grip pressure which leads to greater tension in the wrists. One effective way to reduce the pressure is to increase the surface area of the grip and by doing so the natural result is a reduction on grip pressure and therefore tension.
For this reason our OG Lite and OG Taper range would be a great option for you to try which can be used in conjunction with any grip technique. If your preference is for a more traditional shape of oversized grip then choose our Snug 33 whose flat front will also aid consistent grip alignment and help prevent grip twist.

I currently use a pistol size putter grip, which 2THUMB Grip would suit me best?
This very much depends on what you are wanting to achieve by changing your grip. For example, if you wish to continue using a pistol / pencil size grip then choosing a Pistol 7E (26 or 29) or Snug (24 or 27) will help with your grip alignment and consistency of stroke. If your primary goal is to confidence with shorter length putts, then opt for the Pistol 7E 26 or Snug 24 however if your goal to gain greater control over long distance putts then the slightly wider Pistol 7E 29/32 or Snug 27/30 would be a great option.

I use a mallet style putter, which 2THUMB Grip should I buy?
All of our grips will compliment a mallet putter, the question is the size of grip you have a preference of and what aspect of your putting (if any) are you wanting to improve?
If you currently use a pencil sized grip but want to improve confidence over shorter puts, consider: Snug 27 or 30, Pistol 7E 29 or 32 and the OG Lite 31 however if you want greater control over longer distance putts consider a Snug 24 or Pistol 7E 26.
If you currently use a midi sized grip but want to improve confidence over shorter puts, consider: OG Lite 35, OctoGrip 36 and Snug 33, however if you want greater control over longer distance putts consider: Snug 27 or 30, Pistol 7E 32, OG Lite 31.
If you currently use an oversized / fat grip but want to improve confidence over shorter puts, consider: OG Lite 39 or 43, OctoGrip 43, OG Taper or OG Taper Lite however if you want greater control over longer distance putts consider a Snug 33, OctoGrip 36, OG Lite 35 or Pistol 7E 32.

Do I have to putt using a prayer grip / with my hands side-by-side to use a 2THUMB Grip?
Whilst we believe there are huge benefits to putting with a prayer style grip which ensures your shoulders are level and better aligned to the target, you can employ any technique when using our grips. Many opt for a traditional right below left or left below right set-up while others use the increasingly popular claw technique. Examples can be found within the images of product pages
